My love affair with photography began in 1972 on the island of Majorca, when I first held a borrowed Pentax camera in my hands. That moment ignited a fascination that has shaped my life's work ever since—a deep curiosity about the interplay between light, landscape, and the human experience.
For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of documenting the human experience as a professional portrait photographer, capturing life's most raw, authentic moments and fleeting emotions. Working face-to-face with people taught me something profound about true connection and how a single image can command the energy of an entire room. But recently, I’ve felt the irresistible pull to return to my first love: the magnificent landscapes and celestial wonders that first captured my imagination all those years ago.
I am endlessly fascinated by three things: the complexity and beauty of human nature, the infinite mystery of our night sky, and the breathtaking landscapes that our Earth offers us. Through my lens, I seek to capture not just what we see, but what we feel when we stand before something truly beautiful—whether it's the Milky Way stretching across a dark sky, golden light painting a mountain range, or the quiet majesty of an untouched wilderness.
Photography, for me, is about more than technical precision or perfect composition. It's about connection—to place, to moment, to the wonder that surrounds us every day. My camera is simply the tool that allows me to share these moments of awe with others, hoping that through these images, viewers might discover their own sense of wonder about the beautiful world we're privileged to call home. To bring this expansive connection indoors, each image is meticulously captured using high-resolution, multi-exposure techniques specifically optimized to hold razor-sharp clarity at massive architectural scales.
